Mary's and San Francisco marks the first meeting in program history
for the two teams.
• It will also be the Mount's first game against a team from
the West Coast Conference.
• The Dons have only faced Long Island from the Northeast
Conference with the Blackbirds taking a 61-46 decision in the
2005-06 campaign.
• Mount St. Mary's is making it first trip to the state of
California, but this is not the squad's first trip out west. The
Mount participated in the Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout

about the dons... San Francisco comes into the
contest 3-10 after defeating the Academy of Art 85-57 on
Wednesday.
• Senior G Kelly Jo Mullaney paced the Dons with 16 points
against the Academy of Art. Mullaney fueled San Francisco with a
season-high 22 points in a 77-71 loss against Utah State on Dec. 8.
Mullaney, who has led the team in scoring six times this season
including the last three games, leads the team with 9.8 points and
2.8 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore F Bailey Barbour added 11 points on Wednesday. The
sophomore is averaging 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
• Junior G Vania Singleterry tallied 10 points and seven
rebounds against the Academy of Art. The junior is averaging 4.9
points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
• Junior F Katy Keating paced the squad with 19 points in an
87-76 win against Rhode Island on Nov. 27. Keating and senior F
Donnisha Taylor paced the Dons with 20 points in a 71-59 victory
against San Jose State on Nov. 15. Keating ranks second on the team
with 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while Taylor is third on
the squad with 8.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

• The last time the Mount played on Dec. 31 was in 2003-04
when the squad lost to Lehigh 86-83 in double overtime.
• The Mountaineers defeated American 63-56 in 1995 and lost to
Holy Cross 82-75 in 1994.

career-high 26 points to lift Mount St. Mary's past San Jose State
on Wednesday. Fellow sophomore Tara Lonergan added a career-best 13

Selina Mann scored seven unanswered points from 15:44 mark in the
second half to the 13:20 mark to erase a one-point deficit and hand
the Mount the lead for good.
• Mount St. Mary's rallied from a seven-point deficit in the
first half with a 9-0 run to take the lead at halftime.
• Mann scored a career-high 26 points, including hitting 10 of
13 from the free throw line and also added four rebounds, four
assists and three steals.
• Sophomore Tara Lonergan added a career-high 13 points off
the bench in a personal-best 30 minutes.
• Freshman Ashley Christie chipped in nine points, four
assists and three steals. The freshman is averaging 10.0 points,
3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in her last two games.

Long Island, who advanced to the NEC Championship Game last season,
received six first-place votes to be tabbed as the preseason
favorite while the defending league regular season champions Robert
Morris was selected second after garnering three first-place nods.
Sacred Heart placed third ahead of the defending NEC Tournament
champions Saint Francis (Pa.), who picked up two first place votes
while Monmouth nabbed the final first-place vote to finish fifth in
the poll. Quinnipiac, Central Connecticut State, Bryant, Fairleigh
Dickinson, Wagner, the Mount and St. Francis (N.Y.) rounded out the
12-team field.
the good and the bad for henderson... Sophomore
Sydney Henderson scored a career-high 17 points against Virginia on
Nov. 14.
• Henderson scored 13 of her 17 points in the first eight
minutes of the second half.
• After establishing a new career-high on her bucket with
12:01 left in the second half, the sophomore left the game with a
knee injury.
• Henderson will miss the rest of the season due to the knee
injury sustained in the game against Virginia.
bcs schools on the schedule... The first six
games in the 2010-11 campaign could have arguably been the toughest
start in program history.
• The Mount faced Atlantic Coast Conference member Virginia in
the season opener and Big East affiliates Cincinnati on Nov. 23 and
Pittsburgh on Dec. 4.
• It marked the first time since the 2000-01 season the Mount
will play three BCS schools when the squad faced Virginia (ACC),
Georgia Tech (ACC) and Seton Hall (Big East).

• The senior currently sits in 27th place in program history
with 924 career points. She can pass Rose Stephens (925, 1976-80)
with one point for 26th place and can move ahead of Vera Feldbusch

• The senior also ranks seventh in program history in rebounds
per game (7.3 rpg.). Dunn moved into 10th place on the program's
all-time rebounding list with 714 caroms after grabbing six boards
against Loyola on Dec. 11. The senior can moved into ninth place
and ahead of Bernadine Bocus (735, 1982-86) with 31 rebounds.
• Dunn also ranks seventh in Mount Division I history with 14
career double-doubles. She can move up a spot with three next
double-double.
• The senior is also fourth on the Mount's games started list
with 99 career starts and can move into third place with three

freshmen for one-two-three... Freshmen Jessie
Kaufman, Ashley Christie, Rachel Mathews and Kayla Grossett each
knocked down their first career shot attempt in the game against
Virginia.
• Kaufman gave the Mount a 3-2 lead with a 3-pointer 35
seconds into the game and Christie nailed 3-ball of her own to
reclaim the lead for the Mountaineers at 6-4 with 18:28 left in the
first half.
• Mathews recorded a 3-point play the traditional way after
scoring a layup at 15:55 and then converting the free throw to give
Mount St. Mary's a 9-7 advantage.
• Grossett nailed a 3-pointer on her first collegiate attempt
at 5:25 in the second half.
in their debut... The five freshmen each saw
action against Virginia on Nov. 14.
• Ashley Christie and Jessie Kaufman both made their
collegiate debut in the starting lineup. Christie posted 13 points,
including 10 in the second half, along with two rebounds and two
assists. Kaufman had eight points, three rebounds, an assist and a
block.
• Kayla Grossett, Rachel Mathews and Kelly Guerriero each saw
time off the bench. Grossett had six points and two rebounds while
Mathews had three points, three rebounds and an assist. Guerriero
played the final 1:55 and missed her own shot attempt. Guerriero
notched her first collegiate point in the second half against
American on Nov. 17.
tops in the league... Mount St. Mary's has
posted the most wins in the Northeast Conference since joining the
league in 1989-90 with 241 victories.
• The Mount has the third-most wins in league history,
trailing only Monmouth (253) and Saint Francis (Pa.) (247).
• The Mount is 241-131 in Northeast Conference play, including
135-54 at Knott Arena and 106-77 on the road.

Arena, Mount St. Mary's has posted a 204-98 overall mark, including
