KANSAS CITY,
Mo. (March 5, 2009) ‐‐ Mount
St. Mary's junior guard Jeremy Goode (Charlotte,
N.C./Providence Day) and sophomore guard Jean Cajou (Fairfax, Va./Paul
VI) have been named to the NABC Division I All-District
team for District 18.
Goode, who was
named First Team All-Northeast Conference on Tuesday, earned a spot
on the District's First Team. He is
averaging 15.8 points, 4.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game for
the Mount this season. The 5-9 point guard has scored at least
eight points in every game this season and in double figures in 24
of the Mount's 29 contests. He ranks sixth in the NEC in scoring,
tied for seventh in assists, third in steals, second in
assist-to-turnover ratio (1.74-to-1) and 10th in
three-point field goal percentage (.398).
Cajou
earned Second Team All-District honors. The 6-3 guard is averaging 13.2
points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game for the
Mountaineers this season.
Cajou has scored in double figures in 20 of the past 22 games and
has 24 double-figure games this season. Cajou is currently 10th in
the nation in free throw percentage at 88.4 percent. He has had streaks of 24 and 17
consecutive free throws made this year. The 2008 NEC Tournament most valuable
player, Cajou is one of the top defensive players in the
NEC.
Joining Goode
on the District 18 NABC All-District First Team are Robert Morris

Henley, and Quinnipiac sophomore forward Justin
Rutty.
Joining Cajou on the Second Team are Quinnipiac's James Feldeine,
Fairleigh Dickinson junior guard Sean Baptiste, Central Connecticut
State sophomore forward Ken
Horton, and Robert Morris junior forward
Rob
Robinson.
Selected by
members and coaches of the NABC, the 240 student-athletes from 24
districts are now eligible for the State Farm Coaches' Division I
All-America teams. Those teams will be announced on Saturday,
April 4 during the NABC Convention in Detroit.
