EMMITSBURG, MD (August 30, 2026) – Mount Women's Soccer record first positive result of the season against Richmond as teams finish in a 0-0 draw.
Abby Makaela started in goal, facing a total of 10 shots, making 2 saves - 9 of the 10 being in the second half. Her efforts combined with the backline of
Payton Meara,
Addy Gallagher,
Molly Gannon,
Jessica Ras, and others helped to push shots away from the goal. This group, along with teammates, also cast three corner kicks.
The offense also made their presence felt, recording 10 shots of their own.
Lillian Young recorded the first shot of the game within the first seven minutes through a line of defenders before it was saved by Richmond keeper Veronica Rrapi. Along with Young,
Erin Antone also recorded a shot on goal as well as being the leading shot taker of the team.

In a little under a week (Sept. 5), the Mount travels to New Rochelle, New York to face conference foe Iona at 11 AM.
