MOUNT UPDATE
After allowing two early goals, the defense clamped down and limited the relentless Towson Tigers to only those scores.
Abby Makela made five saves in the contest to earn 100 career saves. On the offensive side, the team searches for their first goal in open play.
Fineen Cregan scored against UMBC off a penalty.
SCOUTING THE BISON
Bucknell began the year with a split against two schools in the Northwest, defeating Montana 1-0 and falling to Eastern Washington 1-0. Ingrid Murphy provided the goal to beat the Grizzlies, and Gaby Parker tallied the assist. The defense has been stingy, allowing only four shots on goal across both matches.
SERIES HISTORY
Since 1992, the Mount and Bucknell have competed 17 times. The last meeting was in 2021, a 2-0 Bison win. Mount St. Mary's won a 2010 contest and forged a draw in 2011.
