EMMITSBURG, MD (November 4, 2026) – It was the perfect punctuation mark for Mount St. Mary's women's soccer in their final contest of 2026 Wednesday. Five players – including four seniors competing for the Mount one last time – found the back of the net in a 7-2 rout of Canisius.
For the program, the goal count represents their highest total in a game since 2016, when that team defeated Hampton 7-0 on October 4 of that year.
Cassidy Nichols and
Kai Douglas led the way, earning braces for four of the team's seven.
Fineen Cregan had the most points with five, scoring once and adding three assists.
The Mountaineers completed the season with a 3-12-2 record and a 3-8-1 mark in the Metro Conference.
