Mount Flag Football Concludes Conference Carolinas Portion of Schedule in Quarterfinals

EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 17, 2026) – In the Conference Carolinas (CC) quarterfinals, Mount St. Mary's flag football fell to top seeded Wingate, 31-0.
 
Madison Kean lived up to her First Team All-Conference honor, finishing the game with five tackles and an interception. Jenna Dick recorded a tackle and a sack in her first game competing on defense.
 
Annabelle Haught finished with 175 all-purposes, 150 of which came through the air. Alyssa Lane led in rushing and receiving yards with 57 from passing and 26 from rushing. Jayanna Goines had the most receptions with six, going for 43 yards.
 
Wingate spread their points around all four quarters, scoring 12 in the first and scattering the remaining 19. The Bulldogs defense kept the Mount at bay with three interceptions.
 
UP NEXT
 
Wrapping up the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) regular season, the Mount faces Mercyhurst and Franciscan. All four games take place on Saturday, April 25 in Erie, Pennsylvania.
