Swim and Dive Finishes Final Day of NIC’s; Gospodinov Makes A-Final

OCALA, Fla. (March 15, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's swimming and diving concluded their 2025-26 season at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships on Saturday, March 14, with multiple swimmers making the final sessions on Saturday night.
 
Todor Gospodinov finished in eighth place for the men's 200-Yard Backstroke, posting a finals time of 1:45.32 for the Mountaineers. Gospodinov also finished fourth in the B-Final of the men's 100-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 48.50.
 
The relay team of Gospodinov, Adam Jozsa, Lucas Hancock, and Parker Koenig place 19th in the men's 200-Yard Freestyle Relay with a time 1:22.78 while posting a time of 3:21.62 in the men's 400-Yard Medley Relay, finishing 21st. They also recorded a time of 1:29.42 in the men's 200-Yard Medley Relay.
 
During the time trials portion of the meet, Christina Lazari posted a time of 58.57 in the women's 100-Yard IM while Austin Toland posted a time of 20.84 in the men's 50-Yard Freestyle.
