GENEVA, Ohio (February 14, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's men's and women's swimming and diving ended the fourth and final day of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships in sixth place between both men's and women's sides of the meet, with the men ending the championships with 597 points and the women with 585 points.
Christina Lazari earned a third place podium in the women's 100-Yard Freestyle A-Final, posting a time of 51.30, earning a ECAC A-Cut qualification. In the same event,
Carmen Del Aguila placed fourth with a time of 51.30, tying her teammates time and earning the same qualification card. The women's 400-Yard Freestyle Relay team of Lazari, Del Aguila,
Theodora Kanellopoulou, and
Madison Murphy placed fourth in the event with a time of 3:25.29, earning a ECAC A-Cut time.
Todor Gospodinov placed third in the men's 200-Yard Backstroke, posting a time of 1:45.94, earning a NIC B-Cut qualification card.
Austin Toland finished eight in the men's 100-Yard Freestyle, recording a time of 45.40, good enough to earn a ECAC A-Cut qualification. And in the men's 400-Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Toland,
Adam Jozsa,
Nicholas Cutidioc, and
Parker Koenig placed sixth with a time of 3:02.67, once again earning a ECAC A-Cut time.
