EMMITSBURG, Md. (July 1, 2026) - Mount St. Mary's swimming & diving earned Scholar All-America status from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association, in a release posted on Wednesday. 

The Mount's women's team boasts a 3.42 GPA across their 24 student-athletes while the men's team earned a 3.31 GPA across its 28 student-athletes. 

According to the organization's release, the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team program presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps recognizes collegiate swimming and diving teams that have demonstrated excellence in the classroom by achieving a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher during the semester. Since its inception, the program has celebrated thousands of teams and student-athletes who exemplify the balance of academic and athletic success.

Led by Head Coach Neil Yost, the swimming & diving teams won three dual meets in 2025-26 and finished sixth at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships.
