Men's Golf Finishes in 21st in Field of Tough Competitors at Peoples Championship

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.  (March 14, 2026) –Mount St. Mary's men's golf finishes in 21st place following three days of tough competition at the Peoples Championship with a gross score of 897 (300-305-292, +45). Bryan Hernandez led Mountaineer golfers on the final day of play finishing tied for 76th with a score of 223(74-75-74, +10).
 
On the team leaderboard, Xavier finished in first place with a score of 838 (-14) with a two-stroke lead over Western Carolina in second. Western Caroline finished with a two-stroke lead over Samford who finished third, For the individual leaderboard, Cayse Morgan of Xavier took the individual title with a score of 202 (-11).

To round out the Mount's scorecard, Brent Glah finished tied for 86th place with a score of 225 (75-76-74, +12), while Tyler Fortney finished tied for 90th  with a gross score of 226 (73-82-71, +13). Force Kosalutta finished tied for 102nd with a gross score of 229 (80-76-73, +16), while Santiago Bonequi finished in 108th with a score of 232 (78-78-76, +19).
