Men's Golf Holds 21st Place in Competitive Field of Golfers on Day Two of Peoples Championship

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.  (March 13, 2026) –Mount St. Mary's men's golf remains in 21st place following day two of Peoples Championship with a gross score of 605 (300-305, +37). Bryan Hernandez leads Mountaineer golfers on day two standing tied for 77th with a score of 149 (74-75, +7).
 
On the team leaderboard, Western Carolina stands in first place with a score of 559 (-9) to hold a four-stroke lead over Samford in second. Samford holds a one-stroke lead over Xavier who stands in third, For the individual leaderboard, Gavin Isbell of Samford and Cayse Morgan of Xavier stand tied for first with a score of 135(-7).

To round out the Mount's scorecard, Brent Glah stands tied for 88th place with a score of 151 (75-76, +9), while Tyler Fortney stands tied for 104th  after shooting a 155 (73-82, +13) day. Santiago Bonequi and Force Kosalutta stand tied for 107th with a score of 156 (+14). Bonequi scored another round of 78 to add to his round of 78 from yesterday, while Kosalutta posted a 76 day to add to his score of 80 from yesterday.
