MOUNT STORY LINES
-  Mount St. Mary's collected a big road win, 66-58, at Merrimack on Friday night to improve to 12-9 overall and 5-5 in the MAAC. The Mountaineers jumped out to a 21-point lead five minutes into the second half. The Warriors cut the deficit to 56-54, but a Jedy Cordilia dunk and a Carmelo Pacheco three-pointer restored the lead to seven, 61-54, with 1:59 on the clock. The Mount held on from there for the win. Dola Adebayo paced the Mount with 16 points while Pacheco added 14 in the win. Cordilia notched his fourth career double-double with 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.
-  Saint Peter's swept the season series last year to take a 5-3 lead in the all-time series that began in 1953. The Mount is 1-3 against the Peacocks in MAAC regular season games with the win coming in the Mount's first-ever MAAC game, 73-58, at Saint Peter's on Dec. 1, 2022.
- The Mountaineers improved to 6-6 on the road this season with the 66-58 win at Merrimack on Friday night. Including the game at Saint Peter's, the Mount will have three of its next four matchups away from Knott Arena.Â
- The win over Merrimack was the 1,600th in program history. The Mountaineers are in their 116th season and have an all-time record of 1,600-1,218, a winning percentage of 58.8.
- Mount St. Mary's records an assist on 61.4 percent of its baskets this year, the 16th-best mark in the nation.
