BALTIMORE, Md. (November 1, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's and women's swimming and diving fell to Johns Hopkins on Saturday, with the men's score ending 211-38 and the women's score ending 197-56, both in favor of the Blue Jays. Regardless of the score, the Mountaineers tallied top time in both individual and team events.
The women's 200-Yard Medley Relay team of
Hanna Aggen,
Christina Lazari,
Theodora Kanellopoulou, and
Eve Phillips opened the meet with an impressive second-place finish, clocking in at 1:47.51. Lazari continued her success later in the meet, taking first place in the 100-Yard Breaststroke with a winning time of 1:06.71.
Carmen Del Aguila also added to the Mount's success, securing a first-place finish in the 200-Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:10.39.
The men's 200-Yard Medley Relay team, featuring
Todor Gospodinov,
Ivan Shandrenko,
Parker Koenig, and
Lucas Hancock, earned a third-place finish with a time of 1:35.56.
Adam Jozsa also turned in one of the top individual performances of the day, placing second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.83.
