MARIETTA, Ga. (November 1, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's rugby team faced a tough challenge today against powerhouse Life University, falling 74-14 in a hard-fought match. Despite the lopsided scoreline, the Mountaineers displayed grit and determination against one of the top programs in the nation.
Life, currently ranked No. 2 in the country, showcased their trademark speed, precision, and physicality from the opening kickoff, capitalizing on turnovers and dominating possession throughout the game. Mount St. Mary's defense was tested repeatedly, but the team continued to battle and play with heart until the final whistle.
Offensively, the Mountaineers found bright moments amid the adversity, scoring two well-earned tries in the match.

Keegan Garcia each broke through Life's disciplined defensive line to put Mount St. Mary's on the board, providing energy and momentum for their side. While the result was not in the Mount's favor, the team gained valuable experience competing against one of the premier rugby programs in the nation.
