EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 14, 2025) – Competing in the state of Maryland, Mount St. Mary's bowling is set to compete in the Coppin State Lady Eagles Invitational.  
 
FORMAT: The two-day event features five rounds of traditional play, and split Baker matches on Sunday with three pinfall rounds and two rounds of best-of-seven.  
 
PARTICIPATING TEAMS: Mount St. Mary's, Coppin State (hosts), Belmont Abbey, Bowie State, Chestnut Hill, Delaware State, Fayetteville State, Felician, Howard, Kutztown, Merrimack, Morgan State, Norfolk State, Saint Anselm, St. Thomas Aquinas, Virginia State
 
ABOUT THE MOUNT: Mount St. Mary's took runner-up at the Niagara Brunswick Fall Open, going 9-1 over the weekend. Sierra Calo and Leah Varela earned All-Tournament honors with top five finishes, with Calo coming in second and Varela finishing fifth. The team started 9-0 before falling to the host Purple Eagles in the championship games.
 
SCOUTING THE FIELD: The Mount comes into the tournament as the highest ranked team in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA). Joining the Mount as ranked teams are #22 Felician and #23 Delaware State. Belmont Abbey, Kutztown, and Merrimack all received votes in the poll.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE: The fall semester portion of the schedule wraps up with the Garden State Classic from November 21-23 in New Jersey.
