- Patrick Haigh scored a career high 15 points to spark Mount St. Mary's to a 74-66 road win at Saint Francis on Tuesday night. The Mount used a 14-0 first-half run to take a 24-16 lead midway through the first half, buoyed by three Haigh three-pointers. The Mount maintained the lead the entire second half to earn the victory. Trey Deveaux added 14 points and six rebounds, Justin Amadi 12 points and seven boards, and Arlandus Keyes 11 points and four assists for the Mountaineers in the win
- Cincinnati won the lone meeting between the two schools, 69-59, on November 15, 2010. The Mount cut a 21-point second-half deficit to four with just under a minute remaining, but the Bearcats were able to hold on for the win by hitting 7-of-8 free throws in the final minute. Shawn Atupem led the Mount with 14 points while Sean Kilpatrick scored 21 points off the bench to pace Cincinnati.
- Mount St. Mary's is 0-11 all-time against Big 12 opponents, including a 70-54 loss at West Virginia in the season opener on Nov. 4. Of the 11 games against a Big 12 opponent, five were against nationally ranked teams. The Mount's last game against a ranked Big 12 team was a 73-55 loss at No. 2 Iowa State on Nov. 14, 2016. In the first meeting between the Mount and Cincinnati, the Bearcats were members of the Big East Conference.
- Mount St. Mary's hit 13-of-30 (.433) from three-point range in the 74-66 win at Saint Francis. The 13 three-pointers were the most by the Mountaineers since going 15-for-25 in a 96-92 loss to Fairfield on March 9, 2024. The Mount hit 17-of-45 (.378) in its exhibition win at Hood College. Mount St. Mary's connected on just 9-of-42 (.214) from beyond the arc over the first two games of the year.
- Mount St. Mary's has recorded an assist on 66.4 percent of its baskets this year, the 31st-best mark in the nation. The Mount had 21 assists on 27 field goals in the win against Saint Francis.
