Mountaineers Host Howard in Final Home Dual Meet of 2025-26 on Senior Day

EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 13, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's and women's swim and dive return to ARCC Pool for one last time in the 2025-26 campaign, hosting a dual-meet against Howard on Friday afternoon for Senior Day. The Mount will be honoring 10 members of both the men's and women's team in a pre-meet ceremony for their actions with the team over the past four years.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
In their last dual-meet against Howard on November 1, the women's 200-Yard Medley Relay team of Hanna AggenChristina LazariTheodora Kanellopoulou, and Eve Phillips opened the meet with an impressive second-place finish, clocking in at 1:47.51. Lazari continued her success later in the meet, taking first place in the 100-Yard Breaststroke with a winning time of 1:06.71. Carmen Del Aguila also added to the Mount's success, securing a first-place finish in the 200-Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:10.39.
 
The men's 200-Yard Medley Relay team, featuring Todor GospodinovIvan ShandrenkoParker Koenig, and Lucas Hancock, earned a third-place finish with a time of 1:35.56. Adam Jozsa also turned in one of the top individual performances of the day, placing second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.83.
 
SCOUTING THE BISON
 
Howard has compiled a dual-meet record of 1-3 on the year across both men's and women's programs while also recording Top 5 finishes at the Potomac Relays, NJIT Invitational, and Osprey Beach Blast Invitational. At American on September 26, the Bison men placed fifth with a score of 314 points while the women placed second with a final tally of 422 points. At NJIT, the men placed second with a score of 859.5 amongst a field of NJIT, Villanova, and Saint Peter's. At the Osprey Beach Blast Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida, the women's team placed second against North Florida and Georgia Southern with a final points tally of 970.5.

Against Howard, both the Mount men's and women's team have a combine dual-meet record of 11-10, with the last win against the Bison for both programs coming on November 3, 2018.
