Leading 31-28 at the half, the Mount outscored the Red Flash (1-4), 19-to-7, in the opening eight minutes of the second half to take its biggest lead of the game, 51-35.  Saint Francis fought back, whittling the Mount lead to 56-52 with just over four minutes left in the contest.  Adebayo came up with a huge putback basket on the next possession, but Saint Francis responded on a Daemar Kelly bucket.  Adebayo then hit two free throws to make it 60-54 with Lipscomb recording a key block on the defensive end on the ensuing possession.  Ard Jr. then converted a putback of his own to extend the Mount's lead to eight.  Saint Francis did not go away, scoring the next four points to slice the Mount's lead in half, 62-58, with 47.7 seconds on the clock.
