Mount St. Mary's heads on the road for a tough test at No. 8 James Madison on Saturday night.  The Mount is coming off a one-goal loss to unbeaten Delaware on Tuesday.

MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's had a 3-2 setback at home against unbeaten Delaware on Tuesday night.  Bobby Marsteller's first half goal tied the score as the teams went to the locker rooms tied at 1-1.  The Blue Hens struck for the first two goals of the second half before Mackie Sackarellos headed home a Marsteller cross in the 87^th minute to make it a one-goal game.  The Mount, however, was unable to find the equalizing goal in the final minutes.  Marsteller and Dominik Topolsky are tied for the team lead with three points (1g, 1a) while Ethan Russell has a 2.00 goals against average and 15 saves while starting all four games this year.

ABOUT NO. 8 JAMES MADISON:  The eighth-ranked Dukes are coming off a 2-2 draw with Gardner-Webb on Tuesday night.  The ranking is the highest for the Dukes by United Soccer Coaches since being ranked seventh in the poll for the week of Sept. 22, 1997.  In the tie with Gardner-Webb, graduate Clay Obara earned his second career brace as he netted an equalizing goal in the 22^nd minute and found the back of the net again in the 53^rd minute. Sophomore Sebastian Conlon played the full 90 minutes and recorded one save in goal.  Obara and Kevin Larsson are tied for the team lead with three goals each while Conlon has a 0.77 goals against average and 12 saves while starting all four games in goal this year.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH JAMES MADISON:  The Mountaineers are 1-12-0 all-time against James Madison since the Mount's move to NCAA Division I in 1988-89.  The Dukes won the last matchup, 4-0, in Emmitsburg on October 6, 2021.  The Mount's win in the series was a 1-0 victory on September 19, 2002, at home.  The Mountaineers are 0-6-0 all-time on the road against James Madison with the last meeting in Harrisburg a 3-0 loss on September 21, 2019.
