Emmitsburg, Md. (January 20, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's men's and women's swim and dive teams host St. Francis Brooklyn Saturday at 1 p.m. to mark the end of their regular season. The Mountaineers will be honoring senior swimmers and divers prior to the competition.

ABOUT THE MOUNT

The Mountaineers last competed on Monday where both teams lost to Lafayette. The women's team lost 143-106, while the men's team lost 175-94. Both the men's and women's team share the same record at 1-3 on the season.

Sophomore
Meghan Speicher won the two individual events she competed in, the 200 free tallying a time 2:13.79, and the 100 free tallying a time 1:01.25. The women's team placed second in 200-medley relay notching a time 2:05.37, and the 200-free relay notching a time 1:53.22.

Sophomore
Aidan Grady won the only individual event he competed in, the 100-meter breaststroke as he tallied a time 1:04.22. The men's team placed second in the 200 free finishing with a time 1:37.02.

The women's team holds an 8-2 record versus the opponent with their last meet being October 29, 2021. The Mountaineers saw a loss by a score 154-88 in the away meet. The men's team holds a 2-2 record versus the Terriers with their last meet being October 29, 2021. The men won their away meet by a score 133-90. The Mount's men's and women's teams are undefeated to the Terriers at home with the men being 1-0 while the women are 3-0.Â
