MOUNT STORY LINES
- Mount St. Mary's saw its offense go cold down the stretch in a 62-57 loss to Manhattan on Friday night. The Mount held a 54-52 lead with 3:30 left after a pair of Xavier Lipscomb free throws, but Manhattan scored the next 10 points over the next 3:08 to rally for the win. The Mount scored just seven points over the final 7:41 of the game. George Tinsley led the Mount with a season-high 18 points while Dakota Leffew chipped in 10 in the loss. Mount St. Mary's was held to 20-of-55 (.364) shooting in the game.
- Mount St. Mary's holds a 14-13 lead in the all-time series with Quinnipiac that began in 1985. The Mount and Quinnipiac were in the Northeast Conference together from 1998-2013. This will be the first meeting between the two schools since a 77-73 Mount victory on January 31, 2013, at Knott Arena. The Mount is 9-3 all-time at home against the Bobcats.
