MOUNT STORY LINES
	- Mount St. Mary's dropped its third straight game, 77-65, at Sacred Heart on Thursday night.  The Pioneers shot 64 percent in the second half to earn the victory after trailing 33-31 at the break.  Nana Opoku led the Mount with 12 points while Deandre Thomas, Mezie Offurum and Jalen Benjamin each scored 11 in the loss.
 
	- Mount St. Mary's has clinched the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Northeast Conference Tournament.  The Mount will host No. 5 seed St. Francis Brooklyn at Knott Arena on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 7:00 p.m..  This will be the Mount's first NEC Tournament home game since a 60-56 NEC Quarterfinal loss to Robert Morris on Feb. 28, 2018.
 
	- A strong defensive effort fueled Mount St. Mary's to a 65-50 win over visiting Central Connecticut January 23 at Knott Arena.  Mezie Offurum posted 14 points and eight rebounds to lead the Mount to the win.  The Mount led 27-16 at the half.  The closest CCSU would get in the second half was within eight points.  Dakota Leffew added 11 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench for the Mount while Deandre Thomas added 10 points and four boards.  Davonte Sweatman was the lone Central Connecticut player in double figures with 12 points.
 
	- The Mount downed Central Connecticut, 65-50, on January 23 at Knott Arena to take a 25-23 lead in the all-time series.  The Mountaineers are 13-4 over the past 17 matchups with the Blue Devils, and have won seven of the past nine matchups at Detrick Gymnasium
