Emmitsburg, Md. (December 12, 2022) – Mount St. Mary's baseball announced its 2023 spring schedule, consisting of 53 regular season games from February to May. A full list of contests can be found

The season begins by opening a series at Longwood on February 17-19th, the first time Mount baseball has competed against them since 1988. The week before the home slate of contests, the Mount has a two-game showdown versus Stetson, the first time in team history. The Mount's home slate begins three weeks later as Mount St. Mary's hosts UMBC in a three-game series on March 10th and 11th. UMBC and the Mount will compete in a double header on March 11th (Saturday) beginning at 11:00 a.m. The series sparks a four-game home bout with visits from Georgetown and St. Bonaventure. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference games make up 24 of the 53 events, beginning March 24th as the Mount hosts the Canisius Golden Griffins to kick off a three-game series, the first of eight-conference series matches. The series is followed by another home bout versus Fairfield beginning on March 31st. The Mount travels to Marist, Quinnipiac, Manhattan, and Niagara while they host Saint Peter's (April 14th) and Siena (May 11th) in critical MAAC series. This season marks the first contests versus Fairfield, Sienna, and Niagara in team history.
More non-conference highlights include five contests against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks, two games against Georgetown, a weekend series versus Wake Forest and power five matchups versus Virginia and Maryland, adding intrigue in between conference games. There are also a series of Wednesday contests (all away), at Maryland Eastern Shore, at Virginia, and at Georgetown.
The series at Niagara wraps up the regular season with a three-game away series May 18th- 20th. Following the regular season, the top six teams in the MAAC standings compete in the MAAC Championships May 24th-27th.
