Alexander and Hawes both struck in the final two frames of game six to secure the narrow advantage and match victory.
"After a less than an ideal yesterday, I am beyond proud of how these ladies made the conscious choice to end this semester with a bang," said head coach
Kenneth DeGraaf. "Today could have gone one of two directions and we chose to step up and gain some much needed momentum into the break. Things will not get any easier with our Vegas tournament in January, so it is important we sustain this momentum over break and work hard to improve our weaknesses.
The Mount will now have a break from competition until they host the Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic Jan. 8-10 in Las Vegas, NV.
