EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 28, 2022) – Mount St. Mary's swimming & diving rounds out their 2021-22 regular season with a road trip to Charm City and a matchup with rival Loyola.
 
ABOUT THE MOUNT
 
Last weekend at Howard, the Mountaineers traveled a limited squad of competitors due to COVID concerns, resulting in defeats. Several athletes did achieve new personal records for their events, and Jason Fitch and Meghan Speicher emerged victorious in their events.
 
For dual meets, the Mount men's team stands 3-1 on the season while the women are 1-4. Invitational finishes include a second place showing for the men and third for the women at Franklin & Marshall.
 
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
 
Loyola's men are enjoying a 5-1 record, with the women 3-2 in dual meets. The Greyhounds also won the H2Ounds Invitational, their annual multi-team meet. On January 19th, they competed at Towson, where a trio of players won two individual racers apiece. The teams split results with the men victorious and the women defeated.
 
THE ALL-TIME SERIES
 
Both teams are seeking their first-ever wins over the Greyhounds. The men's team stands 0-5 all-time with the women 0-13.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
 
The Northeast Conference Champions run from February 22nd-25th in Geneva, Ohio.
