MOUNT STORY LINES
	- The Mount offense was working in high gear in a 98-59 win over Sacred Heart on Friday night at Knott Arena.  Mezie Offurum tied a career high with 22 points as five Mountaineers scored in double figures in the easy win.  The Mount shot 58.0 percent in the game and 11-of-22 (.500) from three-point range in the game.  The Mount led 8-0 early in the contest and held a 55-29 lead at the half.

	- Last year, the Mount split its two-game series with Central Connecticut on the road.  In the opening game, the Mount earned a 67-57 win, but the Blue Devils rallied for a 65-64 win in game two.

	- Mezie Offurum matched his career high with 22 points in just 17 minutes of action in the win over Sacred Heart.  Offurum was 8-for-10 from the field while connecting on both of his three-point attempts and all four of his free throws.  Offurum had four dunks to help his field goal percentage in the game.  The senior is averaging 11.4 points in five Northeast Conference games this year on 51.2 percent shooting from the field.

	- Nana Opoku had 13 points and 10 rebounds against Sacred Heart for his third double-double of the year and ninth of his career.  His nine career double-doubles are tied for seventh in the Mount's Division I era.

	- The Mount poured in 55 points in the first half of its 98-59 win over Sacred Heart on Friday night.  The 55 points are the most in a first half since scoring 59 in a win at Norfolk State on Jan. 3, 2014.  Overall, the 55-point first-half effort is the fifth-highest scoring first half by a Mount team since the school moved to NCAA Division I in 1988-89.

	- The Mount has been hot from three-point range in Northeast Conference play this season, shooting a league-best 43.4 percent.  That mark tops Sacred Heart and CCSU, who are tied for second in NEC play at 36.4 percent.

	- Up next, the Mount heads to Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday, January 27, before returning back to Knott Arena to face Saint Francis U on January 29.
