EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 3, 2021) – Mount St. Mary's women's rugby could not keep up with Harvard as the Crimson cruised to a 53-5 victory tonight. Harvard jumped out to an early lead and never looked back with the Mountaineers only scoring one try.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Harvard scored the game's first try within three minutes when Achele Agada scored to make it 7-0.
- The Crimson's Chloe Headland scored a penalty kick about 11 minutes in to extend the lead to 11.
- Harvard's solid defense held the Mountaineers off the scoresheet, while Harvard scored two more tries to give them a 22-0 lead going into halftime.
- Harvard continued where they left off in the first half, scoring a try within the first two minutes to extend the lead to 29-0.
- The Mount's Jalana Jade Garcia was finally able to get the Mountaineers on the board after punching it across the line to make it 29-5.
- Harvard responded instantly with another try to extend the lead with another try from Agada.
- The Crimson controlled the rest of the game by scoring another three tries to close out the game and reach the final score of 53-5.
