Arden Lembryk (Wayne, N.J.) has been named the Northeast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Lembryk recorded nine saves in the Mount's 1-0 victory at Davidson this past Friday.
In the win at Davidson, Lembryk made five saves in the opening half to keep the game scoreless at the break. After the Mount took a 1-0 lead, Lembryk made a pair of saves in the closing 28 minutes to secure her third career shutout.
On the year, Lemryk is 1-1-0 with a 0.98 goals against average, 17 saves and a .895 save percentage in two starts.
Lembryk becomes the seventh player in Mount history to earn an NEC Defensive Player of the Week award. The last Mountaineer to collect the honor was
Maggie Barron on September 19, 2019.
The Mount returns to action on Friday, September 3
rd, with a home game against Bucknell at 7:00 p.m.
