Davidson, N.C. (August 27, 2021)—Elisabeth Rockhill provided the offense while Arden Lembryk collected her third career shutout to power Mount St. Mary's to a 1-0 victory at Davidson on Friday night.  Mount St. Mary's head coach Tori Krause, a 2014 graduate of Davidson, was coaching against her alma mater for the first time.

The Mount (1-2-0) generated some momentum 15 minutes into the second half, earning a corner kick and then Rockhill had a shot go wide.  The Mountaineers (1-2-0) broke through in the scoring column when Rockhill scored in the 62nd minute from the left side for her first goal of the season.  Kalli Bell picked up the assist on the Rockhill tally.  From there, the Mount defense stood tall in the final 28 minutes with Lembryk making a pair of saves to secure the victory.
