HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears got off to a quick start by scoring in the first two minutes when Morgan Cunningham scored to make it 5-0.
- Brown doubled the lead seven minutes later when Mahdia Parker was able to get to the outside and outrun the Mountaineers defense to make the score 10-0.
- The Mount got close to scoring soon after, but Brown's defense was able to keep the Mountaineers out.
- Brown got on the scoreboard again when Akilah Cathey juked a couple of defenders and made them miss tackles to increase the lead to 17-0.
- Brown closed out the half on a 14-0 run, with Zoe Belge and Delaney Dill each scoring to give the Bears a 29-0 lead going into halftime.
- The Mount came out of halftime and got on the board just over two minutes into the half when Tania Wheeler got across on the Mount's second effort after the restart to make it 29-5.
- Parker got her second try of the game ten minutes later to give Brown a 34-5 lead.
- The Mount's ZyQuaria Climons scored the game's final try after Kameka President got a pass, got to the sideline, and made the extra pass back to Climons to score.
