HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Mountaineers got on the board first, with Lavona Aromin scoring the try with 33:37 remaining in the first half.
- The Midshipmen scored a penalty kick to cut the lead to 5-3 at 26:35, but the Mount's Alexis Vance responded six minutes later with a try to increase the lead to 10-3.
- Navy then went on a 17-0 run that spanned 10 minutes and 25 seconds, with the Midshipmen scoring three tries and making only conversion kick to take a 20-10 lead.
- The Mountaineers closed out the half with a Tania Wheeler try to reduce the lead to 20-15.
- The Mount's Lisa Madray scored her second try of the season to tie the game up at 20 within the first ten minutes of the half.
- The Mountaineers took back the lead at 21:36 when Jenna Lewaren scored her first try of the season, with Veronica Blair making the conversion kick to make it 27-20.
- Navy closed out the game on a 14-0 run to pull away and win the match 34-27.
