- Mount St. Mary's built a 15-point second half lead over Saint Francis U on Saturday at Knott Arena only to see the Red Flash rally for a 70-55 victory before a crowd of 2,724. Jalen Gibbs scored 24 points to pace the Mount while Nana Opoku added 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists. The Mount led 29-20 at the half, and scored the first six points of the second half to take a 35-20 lead. The Red Flash rallied, taking their first lead of the game, 51-50, with 6:23 left. From there, the Red Flash were able to pull away.
- Jalen Gibbs scored a game-high 24 points in the Mount's 70-55 loss to Saint Francis U on Saturday. It is the fifth time this season that Gibbs has scored 20 or more points, and the 11th time he has scored 15 or more this season. Gibbs has reached the 20-point plateau in 11 games in his two seasons with the Mountaineers.
- Vado Morse has dished out five assists in each of the past two games. Morse had recorded just five assists total in the previous five games. For the season, he is averaging 2.3 assists per game.
- The Mountaineers will play three of their next four games on the road with games at Wagner (2/18), Robert Morris (2/21) and Saint Francis U (2/29). The Mount is 3-11 on the road this season.
- The Mountaineers have lost five of their past six games to fall into a tie for sixth in the Northeast Conference standings. Over the six game stretch, the Mount is averaging 62.8 points while shooting 37.8 percent from the field. Conversely, Mount opponents are averaging 70.5 points while shooting 47.3 percent overall and 39.1 percent from three-point range over that span.
- Mount St. Mary's is outrebounding the opposition by 0.7 rebounds per game this season. The last time the Mount outrebounded the opposition in a season was back in 2011-12, when the team posted a +0.1 rebound margin. Since moving to NCAA Division I in 1988-89, the Mount has outrebounded the opposition just three times (2011-12, 2009-10 and 1994-95).
