LAST YEAR AT THE NEC'S: The Mountaineers men's team took home its first team title in 20 years at last year's Northeast Conference Championships. Four runners earned All-NEC honors to lead the way for the Mountaineers. Nicolas Fransham finished in second place while Will Merritt, Isaac Kole and Benjamin Finnigan, finished seventh through ninth, respectively. Not to be overlooked, the Mountaineer women's team had a fantastic performance as well. The Mount finished in fourth place at the meet while Erin Jaskot and Maddie Kole each posted top five performances to earn All-NEC honors. Click HERE for a full recap.
MOUNT HISTORY AT THE NEC CHAMPIONSHIPS: The Mount has had a storied history at the NEC Championships since joining the league in 1988-89. The men's team won the championship for the first time in 20 years last season, giving them five championships since joining the conference in 1989-90. The women's team won the title in 1991 in addition to a three-year run from 1994-96.
