After Fairleigh Dickinson opened the game on a 10-4 run, the Mount responded with a Habwe three-pointer and a Jefferson bucket in the paint to cut the deficit to one.  FDU pushed the advantage to eight points after a 7-0 run, but the Mount countered again on a Morse three-pointer and a Collin Nnamene dunk to make it 24-21 with 9:35 left in the opening half.

After Edge hit a three-pointer for the Knights, Habwe connected on back-to-back triples to even the score at 27-27.  FDU pushed the lead back to 36-31, but a Jefferson basket and a Nnamene free throw made it a two-point game at the two-minute mark of the opening half.  The Knights rattled off a quick 8-0 run that was capped by back-to-back three-pointers by Edge to take its biggest lead of the half at 44-34.  The Mount's Nana Opoku hit a corner three-pointer on a nice feed from Damian Chong Qui to make it 44-37 at the break.
