ABOUT MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE
MDES is coming off a three game series where they were swept by Norfolk State. Looking to salvage a game against the Norfolk State Spartans, Maryland Eastern Shore baseball ran headlong into a fine pitching performance from the Spartans' Devin Hemmerich. The Hawks were able to cross home plate just once in the 7-1 loss.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Mountaineers own a 27-7 advantage in the all-time series with MDES despite dropping the most recent game by a final of 9-2 last year. Mount St. Mary's is a perfect 10-0 against The Shore at home, 17-4 on the road and 0-3 in neutral site contests.

UP NEXT
The Mount welcomes UMBC for a double header on Saturday, April 1 starting at 1 p.m. and then will finish the three game series at UMBC Sunday, April 2 at 1 pm.
