MOUNT UPDATE
The Mountaineers took one of four from Fairleigh Dickinson over the weekend to move to 2-12 overall and 1-3 in Northeast Conference play on the year. Junior Tyler Post provided the power in the Mount's 13-6 win over the Knights in the first game on Saturday as the first baseman blasted two home runs, including a grand slam, and added a two-run double to finish the contest with a career-high eight RBI, which tied the program's record for most in a single game. Ryan Owens, Vaughn Parker, Zach Hostetter, Pat Daly and Tommy Quealy joined Post with multi-hit games to help pace the offense. Ben Smallenbroek was credited with the win, and Michael Kuypers struck out two and allowed just one hit in 2.1 innings of scoreless relief.

-Following his career day at the plate on Saturday, Post owns a team-leading 14 RBI on the season, which equals his total number of RBI in his first two seasons combined.
-Senior outfielder Ryan Owens registered four straight multi-hit games before being held hitless in the final game of the series at FDU. Owens went 8-for-15 (.533) with two doubles, a home run and six RBI during the streak.
-Freshman reliever Michael Kuypers hasn't surrendered an earned run since his collegiate debut at Jacksonville in the team's season opener. Kuypers has thrown 7.1 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run, and has struck out eight while yielding just four hits during the stretch.  
-Freshman first baseman Vaughn Parker leads all Mountaineers with a .405 on-base percentage and is tied for second on the team with seven walks.

ABOUT WAGNER
The Seahawks dropped two of three against Fordham over the weekend to fall to 4-9 overall on the season. Wagner is hitting .268 as a team and owns a 5.03 ERA through the opening 13 games. Nick Mascelli (.426), Ben Ruta (.327) and Phil Capra (.310) are the top three hitters on the squad and are all tied for the team-lead in RBI with seven apiece. Austin Goeke heads the Wagner staff, leading the Seahawks with a 2.45 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched.
