ABOUT THE MOUNT
Following a successful non-conference portion of the schedule that saw the team grab four wins and one draw, the Mount is still looking to find its groove in NEC play after dropping a pair of league games last week. The Mountaineers fell to Bryant by a 2-0 margin last Friday before getting edged by Robert Morris, 1-0, on Sunday.
The Mount's top-two scorers on the season, rookie Jaylyn Chandler and sophomore Jenna West, both rank among the top-8 in the Northeast Conference in both goals and points. Chandler is tied for third in the league in goals (4) and fourth in points (10), while West ranks eighth in goals (3) and sixth in points (9). The Mount duo has combined for seven of the squad's 15 goals on the year, including a pair of game-winners. Goalie Maddy Bunnell continues to be a rock in net for the Mount, ranking third in the conference in saves per game (6.00) and fifth in goals against average (1.80).
