ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mount owns a 3-5-1 record through the opening nine games of the season with victories over American (2-1 OT), VMI (2-1) and Temple (2-0). Last time out, the Mount was edged at Delaware State by a 1-0 margin as the Hornets tallied the game-winner in the 80th minute of play. Rookie Sydni Surowiec made her first career start in goal for the Mountaineers, collecting four saves in the contest.

The Mount's top-three scorers on the season, freshman Jaylyn Chander, sophomore Jenna West and junior Chloe Cain, are each tied for fourth in the NEC in both points (5) and goals (2). The trio has combined to tally six of the squad's eight goals this season. Goalie Maddy Bunnell has started eight games in net, posting a 1.94 goals against average and .733 save percentage.

SCOUTING CENTRAL CONNECTICUT
The Blue Devils have dropped two of their last three contests and enter Sunday's matchup with a 2-8-1 overall record. Their two wins on the season were 1-0 victories over UMass Lowell and Colgate. Central Connecticut has scored just five goals in its opening 11 games, with forwards Anya Bornstein and Laura Casanovas Diaz leading the way with three points apiece. Senior Nicki Turley owns a 1.69 goals against average and .772 save percentage in seven starts in goal.

INSIDE THE MATCHUP
The Blue Devils own a 15-3-3 advantage over the Mount in the all-time series as the two programs are set for the 22nd meeting in series history on Sunday. The Mount and CCSU have posted draws in each of the last two meetings, including a 0-0 tie last season.
