Box Score 2 Morehead City, N.C. (March 6, 2015)--Mount St. Mary's baseball dropped both games of a doubleheader against Army on Friday. The Mount fell 11-1 in the opening game before falling 3-2 in extra innings in the nightcap.
In game one, Thomas Williams allowed three runs in 5.1 innings of work. Andrew Clow and Kory Britton each went 2-for-3 at the plate while Tommy Quealy was 1-for-3.
In the second game, the Mount held a 2-1 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh before Army rallied for the win.
Chad Diehl started for the Mount, allowing an unearned run in five innings of work. Kevin Myers struck out a pair in one inning of relief while Clow allowed a run with a strikeout in one inning of work.
Clow was 2-for-3 at the plate while Ryan Owens was 1-for-1 and Joshua Lenig 1-for-4 in the loss.
