MOUNT UPDATE: The Mount will play its first home night game of the season at Waldron Family Stadium on Friday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. versus Penn. Two days later, the Mount hosts Delaware State for another non-conference tilt in Emmitsburg at 1 p.m. Through four games, Rachel Bourne is tied for fourth in the Northeast Conference with 15 saves, while Vicky Cocozza is not far behind in seventh with 14 saves.

LAST TIME OUT: Despite an improved second half, the Mount was unable to pull even with Lehigh after giving up a first half goal in Sunday's 1-0 loss at Waldron Family Stadium. Freshman Jordan Fine fired a pair of second-half shots for the Mountaineers, but Lehigh's goalkeeper Ani Nahapetian stood up to the test with a shutout.

ABOUT PENN: Penn, which is making its season debut on Friday, finished as the Ivy League runner-up a season ago with a 12-1-4 overall record and a 5-1-1 mark in the league. The Quakers welcome back their second-leading goal scorer from last year in Tahirih Nesmith, who scored four goals in 2013. Penn's 2014 squad also features junior defender Caroline Dwyer, who was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. PENN: Friday's match will mark the second all-time meeting between the Mount and Penn. The Quakers got the better of the Mount in a 4-0 victory in Philadelphia, Pa. last season.

LAST SEASON VS. PENN: Penn's high-powered offense jumped on the Mount early, scoring three goals in the opening 36 minutes en route to a 4-0 win last September. In goal for the Mount, Rachel Bourne made three saves in the first half with Vicky Cocozza notching four in the final 45 minutes.

ABOUT DELAWARE STATE: The Hornets are off to a 0-4 start, most recently falling by a 3-0 final score at home to Fairleigh Dickinson on Aug. 31. Offensively, senior Chelsea Boursiquot and freshmen Franny Farella and Paige Wilcox have all scored goals on the year. Delaware State plays at American on Sept. 5 before heading to Emmitsburg for Sunday's showdown.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. DELAWARE STATE: The Mount is 5-0 in the all-time series versus Delaware State. Overall, the Mountaineers have outscored the Hornets, 35-2, in the five games. After winning by scores of 10-0, 9-0 and 10-0 in 2003-05, the Mount has won by 3-1 margins in the last two seasons.

LAST SEASON VS. DELAWARE STATE: After yielding a third-minute goal, the Mount responded with three unanswered goals to beat Delaware State, 3-1, last fall. Alicia Mirando, Jackie Corley and Keriann McGettigan all found the back of the net for the Mount.

MOUNT AT WALDRON FAMILY STADIUM: Since Waldron Family Stadium opened on Oct. 15, 2006, the Mount has compiled an 18-40-7 record at home. 

KEEPING BUSY: The Mount will play three games in a five-day stretch beginning with Friday's match against Penn. On Sunday, the Mount hosts Delaware State before heading north to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on Bucknell on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

UP NEXT: The Mount travels to Lewisburg, Pa. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, to face Bucknell at 7 p.m.
