MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's enters the weekend on a three-game win streak after a 3-2 win at Maryland on Wednesday night.  The Mount was able to escape bases loaded jams in each of the final three innings to secure the victory.  Andrew Clow went 2-for-4 with a two-run single, while Ryan Owens and Andrew Frazier also had two hits in the victory.  Nick Riley earned the save, allowing one run in two innings of work.  Scott Nickerson pitched five scoreless innings to earn the win.  Clow leads the Mount and is second in the Northeast Conference with a .377 average this season.  Leadoff hitter Brandon Scott is hitting .250 while leading the team in runs scored (14), RBI (15) and stolen bases (7).

THE ALL-TIME SERIES: LIU Brooklyn holds a 50-24 lead in the all-time series with the Mountaineers.  The Blackbirds swept the four-game series last season.  The Mount is 2-11 over its past 13 meetings with LIU, posting an 0-5 record in one-run games over that stretch.  The Mount is 9-9 at home against LIU Brooklyn since 2002, and is 12-19 all-time at home against the Blackbirds.
