THE ALL-TIME SERIES vs. THE KNIGHTS:  Mount St. Mary's holds a 40-27 lead in the all-time series with Fairleigh Dickinson since the Mount moved to NCAA Division I in 1989.  The Mount is 20-8 against the Knights since the 2004 season, including winning three of four in last year's series in Emmitsburg.  Mount St. Mary's is 15-14 on the road against FDU all-time, but lost three of four at FDU in 2010.

LAST YEAR AGAINST FDU:  The Mount took three of four games from the Knights last year at the Mount's E.T. Straw Family Stadium.  The Mount won the opening game, 18-1 while the teams split the Saturday twinbill (FDU 5-4 win in game one; Mount 6-2 win in game two).  The Mount closed the series with an 11-2 win on Sunday.  Tommy Flynn (8-for-16, .500), Kyle Kane (7-for-14, .500), Andrew Caron (6-for-13, .462) and Mark Quaranta (6-for-15, .400) all had big series at the plate for the Mount.

ROAD WARRIORS:  The Mount closes out its now 16-game road trip that will have a 32-day gap between home games with its four-game series at FDU.  The Mount is 1-11 over the first 12 games of the trip that will see the team play in seven different cities.

HIT PARADE:  Junior Mark Quaranta is second in the NEC in both hits (58) and batting average (.354) this season.  Quaranta leads the Mount with 29 runs scored while adding four home runs and 30 RBI in 164 at bats.  Hit .330 career average is seventh on the Mount's all-time list.
