Winter Haven, Fla. (March 9, 2011)--Mount St. Mary's lost to Bowling Green, 16-4, in the final game of its five-game trip to Florida. Sam Nott went 3-for-4 at the plate to pace the Mount offense in the loss.

Bowling Green scored five runs in the bottom of the second to take a 5-0 advantage and stretched the lead to 10-1 with five runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Kyle Kane was 2-for-5 with a pair of runs batted in while Shane Eyler (2-for-4), Zach Helman (2-for-5) and Tony Quaranta (2-for-4) also added multiple-hit games in the loss.

The Mount returns to action at the Villanova Classic this weekend with games against Villanova (Friday), Temple (Saturday) and Saint Joseph's (Sunday).
