The Mount is now 2-6-2 on the season and 0-0-1 in NEC play.

Monmouth's Mary Wilks, the reigning NEC Player of the Week, had a chance to win the game with a penalty kick 34 seconds into the second overtime. The Hawks went on to record six shots and four corner kicks alone in the second overtime, but Miller made three saves to preserve the tie.

Monmouth (5-3-1, 0-0-1 NEC) had a chance to win in the first overtime, but had a shot off a cross go just wide of the goal. On the ensuing goal kick, the Mount generated a good scoring chance that saw freshman Kelly Baker (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) denied on a shot close in to the goal by Monmouth goalkeeper Lia Fierro.

In the opening half, the Mount was outshot 6-4 by Monmouth with each goalkeeper making a pair of saves. The Hawks controlled play in the second half, posting an 11-1 advantage in shots, but Miller came up with four saves in the period to force the overtime periods.
