NEWS AND NOTES...

Mount Equals Last Year's NEC Point Total: The Mount's 1-0 win over Wagner gives the team a 1-1-1 mark in Northeast Conference play, matching last year's total of four conference points. The Mountaineers posted a 1-7-1 record in NEC play last season. The Mount will be looking to record back-to-back NEC wins for the first time since closing out the 2004 season with consecutive conference victories.

Streaks Broken: The Mount broke several streaks with its 1-0 win over Wagner this past Sunday. The win against Wagner snapped a five-game losing streak to the Seahawks that saw the Mount shutout in each of the previous four meetings. In addition, the win snapped a 10-game losing streak at Waldron Family Stadium. It was also the first time since October 12, 2008, a string of 16 games, that the Mount scored the first goal of the game.

Menotti Cracks Top Five: Senior Emily Menotti's goal at Wagner moved the forward into the top five all-time at the Mount in career points. Menotti has eight points (3g, 2a) this season, giving her 32 career points, tying for fifth on the Mount's all-time list with Carole Fournier (1992-94) and Mary Coulby Adelsberger (1999-01, 03). Menotti's 12 career goals are tied for seventh all-time at MSM, just one behind Keli Stevens (2000-03) and Adelsberger for fifth. Her eight career assists are tied for fifth on the school's all-time list.

Miller leads the Northeast Conference in both saves (87) and saves per game (7.25) this year while she is seventh in goals against average (1.84) and save percentage (.791). Miller has made 215 saves in 30 career games in a Mount uniform.
