the bases and Pat Epps responded with a two-run single for a
three-run lead. Sean Miller-Jones was hit by a pitch to load the
bases again, and Sean Allaire followed wth a walk to force home a
run. Scialdone then broke the game open with a bases-clearing
double to give CCSU a 9-2 lead.
Miller-Jones belted a solo home run in the fifth and Allair tripled
home a run and scored on a Scialdone ground out for a 12-2 CCSU
lead. The Mount closed out the scoring in the bottom of the eighth
when Counselman doubled and later scored on a Central Connecticut
error.
