2014 SEASON: Appeared in six games as a freshman midfielder for the Mount… Made collegiate debut in the Mount’s 3-1 home win over Howard (9/19)… Fired one shot during the season... Member of the NEC Academic Honor Roll.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starting center midfielder for Bel Air High School… Two-year captain… Tallied 23 goals and 34 assists in four seasons… Honorable Mention All-State as a senior… Honored as an All-County selection as a sophomore, junior and senior… Two-time First Team All-Conference midfielder… Named Team MVP as a junior and senior… Played club soccer for the Baltimore Bays Chelsea ’96, serving as team captain… Led the Bays to a 14-6-5 record in 2013, with 12 goals and seven assists… National Honor Society member and earned a spot on the Distinguished Honor Roll… Participated in Varsity Club and SGA.

PERSONAL: Born July 15, 1996… Daughter of Melissa and Joe Layfield… Has a younger sister, Jaimie… Majoring in special education.
