2013-14 SEASON: Appeared in 24 games on the season, adding depth to the Mount’s frontcourt…  Posted averages of 2.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.1 assists on the season… Played double-digit minutes four times on the season… Corralled a season-high three rebounds on five occasions… Shot 53.1 percent from the field and 86.7 percent on free throws… Posted eight points on 4-of-6 shooting to help the Mount to a win over IPFW in the Preseason WNIT (11-16-13)… Made 5-of-6 free throws and 2-of-2 field goals for a career-high nine points in 12 minutes in the Mount’s win over in-state rival Loyola Maryland (12-7-13)… Connected on 3-of-4 field goals against UMES (12-21-13). 

2012-13 SEASON:  Did not appear in a game. 

2011-12 SEASON: Appeared in eight games off the bench... Averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game... Registered two points and a rebound in one minute for her collegiate debut in a 52-43 loss against Binghamton (11-11-11)… Posted one point and two rebounds in a 63-44 victory against UMES (11-15-11)... Played two minutes in a 58-45 loss against Pittsburgh (11-29-11)... Recorded a career-high nine points and four rebounds in a 71-48 win against St. Francis (N.Y.) (12-5-11)... Posted two points and two rebounds against West Virginia (12-20-11)... Scored two points in a 66-61 victory against Bryant (1-14-12)... Registered two points and two rebounds in a 69-45 win against LIU Brooklyn (1-21-12).

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner on the Bayard Rustin girl’s basketball team... Served as team captain in her senior campaign... Scored 980 points in her career and paced her squad in rebounds and blocked shots... Garnered All-Conference first-team honors in her final two seasons and All-Area first-team recognition as a senior... Recipient of the Daily Local Newspaper Outstanding Athlete award and received her high school’s Outstanding Female honor.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Psychology... The daughter of Diane and Aaron Powell... Mariah Marie Powell was born on Oct. 30, 1992 in West Chester, Pa.
