In May of 2023, Evan Fisher joined the Mount St. Mary's men's basketball coaching staff as the Director of Basketball Operations.
Fisher is an alumnus of a fellow MAAC school, finishing a four-year career at Siena in 2019. During his time in Loudonville, he became a Second Team All-MAAC player as a senior, was elected a team captain multiple years, and served as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Following a brief overseas career in Denmark cut short by the pandemic, Fisher signed on as an assistant coach for Susquehanna University. Juggling roles in recruiting, scouting, skill development and operations, he helped the River Hawks win the Landmark Regular Season Championship last spring and a 24-win 2022 with a berth in the Division III NCAA Tournament.
