2016-17 SEASON:  Appeared in seven games for the Mountaineers, averaging 0.7 points and 0.3 rebounds...Scored two points in four minutes of action in Mount debut at No. 20 West Virginia...Hit first career three-pointer in win over Coppin State.

2015-16 SEASON:  Sat out the 2015-16 season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played senior season at Montverde Academy for former UNC star Donte Calabria...Started every game of senior season averaging 12 points, five rebounds and four assist per game...Team finished inaugural Prep season with a 24 -9 record...Played AAU for Maryland 3D...Scored season-high 26 points in a win against Victory Rock Prep...Selected to represent Baltimore in the Crab Ball Classic and U.S. team in the Roundball classic...Played in Italy for US Elite basketball U19 team in 2013 ...Also played in Dubai, United Arabe Emirates for Montverde Academy 2014...Played in Croatia for Global Sports Academy in 2015.

PERSONAL:  Parents are David and Laura Thurston...He is the youngest of three sons...Brothers are Tyler and Kyle.
